The Future

John Mccains' pick of Sarah Palin shows not only that a strong, smart,  conservative woman is acceptable to people,  but that they can energizes people. I hope the Republican party of Delaware is paying attention. Christine O'Donnell,  is the most conservative voice I've heard in Delaware and is the change we need. The Party needs to return to it's conservative roots and start endorsing conservatives instead of liberaral-lite republicans.

Who to vote for?

Once again I find myself in the situation of not having a candidates that truly inspires me to vote for them. But with the choice of choosing between the lesser of two evils. Why do some of the most qualified candidates wait until they are giving concision speeches before they give one that is inspirational? What are they afraid of before hand? The GOP's inability to attract or put forth a candidate with the charisma of a Ronald Reagan or Barack Oboma will make it hard if not impossible for them to regain control of the government.
Given the choice at hand though, the only choice is for McCain. So hold your nose, grin and bear it.  He has been wrong on many issuses and may be making half promises about building the boarder fence, and keeping taxes low. And I am taking a chance he will backslide on theses and other important issuses, but to vote for one of the Democrat candidates is a guarantee that taxes will go up, the border will be unsecured, Iraq will descend into chaos and universal heath care along with all the other promises they have made for more entitlement programs will make todays national debt a fond memory.

However you decide to vote please think about  long and hard.
